About Ground Zero Electric

Who We Are

Ground Zero Electric LLC is a licensed electrical contracting company serving Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We handle residential and commercial electrical work — from panel upgrades and EV charger installations to full commercial tenant improvement build-outs.

We're licensed in both Ohio (Contractor License #50964) and Kentucky (CE #CE66766, ME #ME67274), and we carry general liability insurance on every project. Our work is permitted, inspected, and built to code.

The Ground Zero Story

Ground Zero Electric didn't start from some lifelong passion. It started from a practical decision. In 9th grade, the apprenticeship director gave his presentation — get paid to learn the trade, come out with real skills and no debt. That made sense.

Started the apprenticeship in 2019. Graduated April 2024. Licensed January 2025. Most contractors have some reputation before getting licensed — customer base built up from side work. That didn't happen here. When Ground Zero Electric launched, there were zero customers waiting. Built from nothing.

What "Ground Zero" Means

  • Grounding in Electrical Systems — Proper grounding is fundamental to safe electrical work. It's where everything starts.
  • Starting from Ground Zero — Building this business from nothing, one job at a time.
  • Staying Grounded — Mentally, physically, spiritually connected to what matters. Staying humble, staying real.
