A mini split needs a dedicated circuit sized to the unit’s specs, an outdoor disconnect at the condenser (required by code, and inspectors check), correct wire sizing for the run, and proper overcurrent protection. Get any of that wrong and you’re looking at nuisance trips, voided warranties, or a failed inspection.
The clean version: your HVAC contractor sets the equipment, we run the circuit and disconnect, they commission the unit.
